When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Yes, I made up a dressphere based on one of my fancharacters, SHUT UP. ;;
Anyway, for Fading, if we restart it or whatever. The story behind the ds is that, well... In a very decidedly uncompleted (and now deleted) FFX RP me and two friends started, my character was a Kilikan summoner and want-to-be blitzball player named Laniska, Lan for short. She personally thought the idea of a summoner dying just so Sin could be reborn a few years later was stupid, and generally didn't like most of the Yevon clergy anyway. She became a summoner and went on her pilgrimage, however, partially because of her mother and partially because, stupid or not, she still wanted her town, at least, to be as Sin-free as possible. Anyway, in both versions of Lan, her fiance and parents die during attacks by Sin, and she ends up more than a little distraught and confused. Now, in the original plan and the original Fading backstory for her or whatever, she continued her pilgrimage but due to the wonders of Tidus and co. never even got to Zanarkand before Sin was desroyed, and ended going home to Kilika for a year or two before setting off on a journey to try and figure out what she was going to do from now on. In other words, she lived. In this version, she quits her pilgrimage and ends up scrambling up and down the main continent of Spira, finally dying or being killed. Not really wanting strongly to stay alive, but not exactly keen on the idea of leaving her friends and Spira behind forever, her spirit pulled a Lenne, so to speak, and moved into a sphere she had been carrying that showed her practicing blitzball with some of the Kilika team and her boyfriend, a favorite memory of hers that had been filmed by her dad. Anyway, like I said, she pulled a Lenne, and thus arose the Heretic dressphere, which looks a lot happier than it sounds, don't it? Yuna, dresspheres, Spira, etc. are © SquareEnix. Lan, backstory, and the Heretic ds design are mine. EDIT: Simplified Explanation --- The Heretic dressphere is a dressphere made up for an RP (or fanfic or whatever it ends up being). Basically, the story behind it is that a young summoner from around Yuna's time, confused and disillusioned with Yevon and Spira in genral, quit her pilgrimage. Unfortunately, unlike most other "failed" summoners, she ended up dying not long after. Not quite willing to leave Spira, but not willing to become an unsent, she settled for having her spirit reside in a personal sphere of hers, forming the Heretic dressphere. And now, for fun, I made up a list of the Heretic dressphere's abilities, seen here, if anyone's interested for whatever reason. |

it isn't so much the quality of life that determines your happiness, but rather, the attitude that you bring to it.
