I know exactly where this look happened. (And yes, I think it's adorable and hilarious.)
After Shepard boards the Normandy 2 and gets issued his Cerberus armor, he takes it down to the armory and strips off the Cerberus logo badge with a grinder. When they get to Omega, Miranda sees what he's done only as they arrive at the airlock, ready to go get Mordin.
It's the conversation they have after they get back to the ship that interests me: What did she say that changed his mind?
